On the 1 July 1995 Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors celebrated its centenary.
As a mark of its thanks to the people of Mackay and as a sign of respect for Fred MacNish, Vince Macrossan, Bill Amiet
and Stan Amiet and to perpetuate their memory, the "Macrossan & Amiet Foundation" was announced.
